Terms of Service

By accessing or using kar2.lt you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

kar2 is an online platform that helps groups discover and contact providers of group activities in Lithuania. We are an intermediary; the activities themselves are run by independent third-party providers.

Customers browse activities and send requests. Providers list activities and respond. kar2 facilitates the connection but is not a party to the contract between a customer and a provider.

Both customer and provider accounts are created through an email sign-in link — there is no password. You are responsible for the security of your mailbox and for the accuracy of the information you provide.

You can delete your account at any time by writing to info@kar2.lt.

Providers must ensure their listings are accurate, lawful and not misleading, hold any licences required to run their activities, and honour confirmed bookings.

Activities are currently ranked by how well they match your search and filters, and by when they were published where there is no search. Ranking cannot be bought and there is no paid placement in the listings.

If we ever introduce paid visibility, it will be labelled clearly and described in these terms.

New provider profiles are reviewed by the kar2 team before they are published. We may decline or not publish a profile that does not meet these terms.

If we restrict, suspend or remove a published profile or activity, we tell you by email, give our reasons, and — unless the law prevents it or the breach is repeated — give 30 days' notice before it takes effect.

Disagree with a decision? Write to info@kar2.lt. We handle complaints and reply within 15 working days. If we cannot resolve it, you may go to court under Lithuanian law or use the mediation options set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/1150.

A request is not a confirmed contract until the customer accepts the provider's offer. Prices, times and other terms are set by the provider.

A confirmed booking is subject to the cancellation policy shown on the activity page at the time the booking is confirmed. Payment is agreed directly between the customer and the provider.

kar2 is currently free for both providers and customers.

If we decide to introduce fees for providers in the future, we will announce them by email at least 15 days before they take effect.

You retain ownership of content you submit (text, photos) and grant kar2 a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. Do not upload content you do not have the rights to.

You agree not to misuse the platform: no unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity, no scraping or automated access without permission, and no attempts to disrupt the service.

kar2 provides the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of providers or customers, or for the quality or safety of the activities themselves. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the platform and request deletion of your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Lithuanian courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
